The Attachment Centre ATTA ( was established in 2017 as a community of therapists providing long-term assistance to families caring for children with attachment disorders. Attachment disorders always emerge when a child has not been able to develop a safe emotional bond to one close and safe person during his/her first years of life. This happens in families where because of various adverse situations and traumatic events (such as divorce or death of a family member) basic trust of the child in his/her family members has been shattered, or in families who have taken into their care neglected, maltreated or abused children who because of their life experiences have ceased to trust, and rely on, other people.

The Attachment Centre ATTA offers to all such families ways how to re-establish trust of their children and how to develop a firm emotional bond with them, using all available approaches depending on the age of the child and the degree of the attachment disorder.

Beside diagnostics of attachment disorders of children and adults (AAI, CAI, Attachment stories, Strange situation) they include the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), the Play Therapy combined with the Filial Therapy, the use of therapeutic sandpits, the Theraplay, the use of  Life story work (Life Story Book, My Backpack), and the use of the classical Family Therapy.

In addition to advisory and therapeutic services ATTA also offers training both for parents (biological and foster parents) and for professionals (psychologists and social workers), possibly extended by intervisions and supervisions.
